monetization has never looked easier, it's also become more difficult to stand out and, most importantly, to keep the attention of ever more disrupted users, attracted by more entertaining formats (such as YouTube), and more instantaneous forms of communication (like Snapchat or Instagram). Bottom line is, it's never been harder to keep a loyal audience.  ">

Promoting your PWA : The Power of the URL

One of the major perks of PWA’s is how easy they make it to acquire visitors. The first reason for this being that PWA’s turn up in search engine results, and the second being that their access gateway is a simple URL that you can easily sneak into endless spots, many of which are so often neglected. With such convenience at one’s disposal, missing out on any of these basic opportunities to promote isn’t an option!

Restaurants : 3 digital ingredients for success

Getting together around food is such an important part of so many cultures that restaurants are probably never going to go out of fashion. That being said, with globalisation, the competition has never been more fierce. Traditional cuisine is challenged by new eating patterns (snacking, food trucks) and new consumption habits (such as fast deliveries at any time of day). Interestingly enough (for us), technology is playing an increasingly important part in the evolution of dining behaviors.

7 clever tips to increase user retention

A few years ago still, blogging seemed like the ideal medium to make one's voice heard. Very few people were covering the same subjects so it was easy for early adopters to emerge as experts in a specific category. Nowadays, even though monetization has never looked easier, it's also become more difficult to stand out and, most importantly, to keep the attention of ever more disrupted users, attracted by more entertaining formats (such as YouTube), and more instantaneous forms of communication (like Snapchat or Instagram). Bottom line is, it's never been harder to keep a loyal audience.

Positive app ideas : engage your users, make them smile

The engagement of one’s app should be monitored closely and your communication strategy adapted accordingly. Thing is, users can fall in love with an app in a second, but they can also be quick to forget about it, unless they are “mobilized”, namely with push notifications. Now, of course, it doesn’t hurt to have an engaging concept to begin with...

Best Practices for Combating Cyberbullying

With where social apps are headed, we were not at all surprised to witness some enthusiasm surrounding the release of our Chat Add-On. 10 Instagram Dos and Don'ts for Businesses

Users are increasingly turning to Instagram over other social platforms. Why? For starters, the content on Instagram is more universal than elsewhere. Also, it tends be more anonymous than Facebook. Although the irony isn’t lost on us that Facebook bought over Instagram for $1 billion…  With that being said Instagram remains a very appealing outlet, especially for businesses looking to grow their brand and especially their brand’s image. Instagram is perfect to help make your brand identifiable, as long as you follow a few guidelines of course. Because if social networks praise spontaneity, with Instagram in particular, when it comes down to marketing, a lot of thought actually goes into what is posted by brands. Images with the most reach are often carefully arranged to fit trending criteria (even when they have an effortless feel), with a clever caption to boot! So, if you want to become a master of Instagram, here’s a few Instagram DOS and DON’TS to get your business on the right track. Read on!

What is the Future of Social Apps?

What a world we live in. Not too long ago, all cellphones could do was make calls, send out a few lines of text, and play simple, monochromatic games like Snake (though, let’s be honest – no mobile game has ever been better). Then, in 2007, came Apple's iPhone – this weird, newfangled device that many people initially scoffed at – and the entire mobile industry has never been the same. Thanks to the popularity of the iPhone, countless companies followed suit and soon rode the touchscreen smartphone wave, which pushed what Apple was initially going for into several bold, new directions.  Nowadays, people are more connected than ever. The proliferation of smartphones with advanced mobile internet capabilities has made sure of that. And with the ability to easily and quickly download countless social apps with tons of rich media features, getting in touch with friends, family or colleagues has become more than just typing out simple messages.  You can share photos, videos, life events, play games with friends, chat in real time, engage in video calls, and so much more. With a plethora of powerful social features already at any mobile device owner's disposal, one has to wonder: has the envelope been pushed as far as technologically possible? Where is all this headed?

How to manage negative comments on social media?

They just happen and you’re bound to have to deal with them at some point if you are active on social media: negative comments. It just comes with the territory, the moment you communicate on public platforms, you expose yourself to praise, just as much as criticism, justified or not. When it comes to coping with it, finding the right attitude isn’t easy. Here’s a few guidelines in order to learn to deal with negative comments on social media.

Increase Your Viralness: Study the Behavior of Facebook Users

When setting up a social network strategy, the ultimate goal we are trying to reach is creating interaction with our audience. Appealing information that is widely spread by internet users is the meaning of buzz, and therefore synonymous with boosting visibility. Every community manager is on the quest for more shares, so we often test many types of posts and measure the results in order to understand which has the most impact on our audience depending on the industry we're working in. But let's be pragmatic, maybe first we should try to understand what is motivating us and all of our fellow viewers to share content on social networks—Facebook in particular.  This is the question posed by Neil Patel , co-founder of several American startups, including Quickspourt

Empower the social features of your app adding the new "User Group" Add-On

GoodBarber has born like a powerful and beautiful CMS system to create native applications. The app market grows every day faster and GoodBarber does it as well. Delivering good content is not enough anymore, you need people interacting with it, spreading your words... Feeling yourself attached to an app is very difficult, but the probability of becoming faithful can increase if the user can have a special and dedicated place for him self inside the app. And so here we are... Less then one month ago I've presented to you the new and very awaited in-app login feature, that enables the app users to create their own profile, with photo and details, and to the app's owner to restrict the app access to the only registered users.  That was our first step into the social apps world and today I'm here to present you the second one. :)

4 Brands that have been Banned from my Social Networks

We often speak about the strategies that brands use to increase their visibility. Many of them have managed to create a very loyal client base, generate much buzz, and sometimes even strategically transform bad buzz into something positive. However, today I don't want to talk about the social network success stories of these brands. Rather, I want to speak to you from the perspective of a social network user about the behaviors of certain brands that drive me crazy, ultimately leading me to unsubscribe from their updates. When these behaviors are constantly recurring, they can create a negative feeling towards the brand amongst customers, even outside of social networks.  This happens to me often, and I think it occurs with a lot of you as well, so I believe it is very important to understand the magnitude and effects that certain behaviors may have on your customers' perception of your brand.  Therefore, I thought making a list of social network behaviors that agitate me the most could be useful for giving you an idea of exactly what not to do in your own business' social networking strategy.

Go for a Check-App and Improve your Mobile Performance

Has your app been in poor health lately? Low percentage of downloads? Less traffic than before? No reviews in the stores? Perhaps your app has a weak immune system and could have a nasty case of “Lack of optimization”.
