Hello GoodBarbers! It’s been a while since we introduced new #GBcrew members on our blog. Yet, it doesn’t mean that we haven’t been welcoming new talents among our Beautiful team. In fact, in the last few months, we’ve probably made more additions to our crew than ever in the past. 

A few days ago, we announced that we were sponsoring Bruno Langlois for his participation in the 2016 edition of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. It was safe to have high expectations, after all, the Corsican champion was Pikes Peak winner in 2013, and came in third place at Pikes Peak 2015. 

We are thrilled to announce that we are sponsoring Bruno Langlois for his participation in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. The Corsican world-renowned motorcycle driver and 2013 Pike Peaks winner is a favorite for the 2016 edition of the competition.  Mastering the awe inspiring tracks, 156 turns, of the second oldest motorsports race, 2016 is the 100th edition, is an achievement in itself, so was making it to the 3rd place in Pikes Peak 2015. 

Our Team is already on their way back from Berlin where we attended Apps World Germany, April 20-21. Arianna, Jérôme  and João had a short but surely eventful trip. Over fifty exhibitors gathered at CityCube during the two days the event lasted.

Mobile World Congress 2016 has been a very good edition for our team. It was the 4th participation of GoodBarber as an exhibitor, and the experience was full of intense pitches, demos, feedbacks and meetings. Over the years, we get to see more and more friendly faces in the crowd and some of them have now become customers. It's always a good experience to meet with them in person. Having a chat with our customers is the most rewarding feeling and their feedback is valuable to keep on pushing ourselves to enhance GoodBarber.  Mobile World Congress was also the perfect occasion to make contacts with other people in our industry and exchange ideas. This year, we organized a MeetUp to get together with our resellers, journalists, bloggers and anyone curious to have a chat in a more relaxed atmosphere about our product. We shared our big highlights for 2015 and gave a preview of what's in the pipe for 2016. It was amazing to discover the powerful use that some of the attendees are making of our product. It was very inspiring. Sure MWC can be tiring at times, we probably drank too many cups of coffee for our own good, saw very little of Beautiful Barcelona, but, at the end of the day, we got the most energy from the people we met along the way! 

Hello GoodBarbers!  It's still one of our favorite rendez-vous year after year, and so, we are pleased to say that we'll be attending Mobile World Congress  again this year, in Barcelona. As you already know, 2015 was an eventful year for us and we can't wait to share our new releases during this crucial and prestigious event. Sara, Arianna, João , Dominique and Jérôme are taking off for Barcelona soon. They will stay there for 4 intense days, looking forward to meeting with passionate actors of the mobile market and exchanging ideas, as well as sharing the results of our team's hard work since the last MWC. GoodBarber Open Product, Social Features, .. The list is long! We'll be expecting you in Hall 8.1 - D41, in the France Pavilion, stand n°10. You can come by anytime during the 4 days of MWC, but you can also book a meeting with us, here ! Given the dimension and challenge that is such an event, we are hosting a special Meet Up  once more, on Wednesday February 24th, which will allow us to interact with you guys in a more relaxed atmosphere :) Our Beautiful Team can't wait to be on the go, See you in Barcelona!

2015 it’s (almost) a wrap! With the year coming to an end, it’s the perfect time to look back on what we’ve achieved. With design remaining at the core of our strategy , that doesn’t mean we didn’t innovate in many other directions… Ready for a flashback?

AppDays 2015, it’s a wrap! And it's been a whirlwind! It’s time for us to reflect on that short but busy adventure… These past two days attending AppDays have allowed us to immerse ourselves into the mobile world and to meet with countless protagonists of our ecosystem. With 722 participants, 18 exhibitors and over 60 conferences and workshops there wasn’t a dull moment.

We help you create Beautiful Apps year round, but don’t think that means we can’t stare at another app once the working day is done! Not only do we have to keep up to date with the new apps released out there, but we also have our favorites. If you are curious to find out what the apps on our team’s homescreens are, here’s a glimpse.

Hazal, our new Turkish Country Manager has a few surprises coming your way to celebrate her arrival… From now on, you can administrate your back office and your apps in Turkish :) And since we make a point of providing you with a very powerful tool, while being user friendly, you can also count on our support team to deliver assistance in your mother tongue! Hello GoodBarbers ,   We just came back from Todi Appy Days and couldn’t wait to share with you this wonderful experience. The main international event dedicated to the world of mobile applications, for its second year, was a huge hit. Also, this was the first time that our Beautiful team took part in an event in Italy, and I must say, the turnout has been very positive.

After the Marketing Team, it is now time for the Developers' Team to welcome new members! Today, we are thrilled to introduce three additions, women only if you please! Meet our « GoodBarber’s Angels » : Dina, Natacha and Marie-Catherine who have joined our native developing team for the better.  Girl power is taking over GoodBarber, see for yourself ;)

Hello Goodbarbers, My name is Isabella Monnier Leland and I am the new English Community Manager here at GoodBarber. I was born in Charleston, South Carolina and although I’ve spent most of my life in France I cherish my American roots very much, traveling across the Atlantic ocean as often as I can. Therefore, who knew I’d end up in the middle of the Mediterranean sea, and yet, for almost a year now, I’ve been happy to call Corsica home! I remember being drawn to the Internet very early on, a passion which has turned into a career. I’ve worked in Paris as an online journalist and social media - blogging expert for several years prior to joining the GoodBarber team. This new chapter is the perfect experience to further expend my knowledge of the online world, this time by contributing to craft a community of Beautiful App enthusiasts. On a more personal note, I’m passionate about protecting the environment and as of late, the wonders of Corsica. I love music and coming up with all sorts of playlists. I enjoy watching movies or series but can be very picky since I don’t like wasting my time on stories that leave me uninspired. I used to have a big case of wanderlust but it’s been cured since moving to beautiful Corsica, although I still have an ever growing list of places I’d love to visit around the world.  I’m looking forward to helping you bring your creative ideas to life!

Hello GoodBarbers!   I’m João Marcelo and just joined GoodBarber to take care of and be the Community Manager for the Portuguese speaking markets. I’m a southern Brazilian guy that has always been eager to discover what every corner of the world is like. Right after I got my Bachelors in International Relations (with a focus on Marketing and Business) I decided it was time to take the challenge to the next level, so I moved to the Czech Republic to be part of the international expansion team in a video production startup. After almost a year there, I moved to Berlin to explore the new, young and innovative environment of the city. And, I must say, being in such a fast paced and creative place, changed the way I see business - for the better! On this entrepreneurial journey I got to know GoodBarber and the great challenge that was ahead of me in Corsica. Being a marketing and people lover, I’ll make all the effort needed to make our users and the company grow. So I invite you to take part on this new journey, and let's make some Beautiful Apps!

Hello Goodbarbers,   My name is Tina Michele Acevedo and I am the new Customer Care Manager for the Spanish speaking markets. I come to you all the way from Miami, Florida.   I studied and worked in New York City for many years and I gladly waved goodbye to it all to be a part of the GoodBarber team! I studied design and communications in school. In the past, I have worked in communications, content development, and community management for a variety of organizations that range from art galleries to start-ups and I am hoping to contribute the knowledge I’ve accumulated, to GoodBarber. In my last position at a start-up, I discovered my love of finding innovative and fun ways to guide users on how to use technology.   Some interesting facts about me: I am a published writer and I have also written a novella. Moreover, I dabble in painting. My curiosity is insatiable, I like to know anything there is about everything. I am currently working on completing my enormous bucket list. Now that I am in Corsica with the GoodBarber team, I can scratch off ‘’live on an island!’’   I look forward to helping you all achieve the ultimate GoodBarber experience!   Cheers, Tina Michele

Ciao,   My name is Michele and I’m the new Italian Community Marketing manager here at GoodBarber. Globetrotter by vocation, I was born in a small city situated very close to Trieste, where I lived until I was 6, before moving to Calabria with my family. I studied Communication and Journalism in Rome, a city that I love and hate at the same time, which is usually the case in most complicated love stories. I also have a fantastic Erasmus experience in Salamanca  under my belt, and an equally intense period in Dublin with the Leonardo program. I have various experiences in the media field (newspapers, web agencies, the communication department of a political party, and radio—my greatest passion). I spent the past year and a half living in Milan where I worked in the marketing department of a small pharmaceutical company. I speak Italian, English and Spanish and I’d love to learn French and Portuguese too. I'm addicted to social media, love rock music, the 80s, sleeping on the beach, football and eggplant parmigiana. Before GoodBarber was created, we were amongst the first few companies in the world to develop iPhone applications. At the time, app builders did not exist. The app features we developed were determined by client requests—they told us their needs and we delivered a custom-made product. For example, we created the first version of the M6 Replay app, allowing shows from the famous French TV channel to be viewed on demand, or even the app for the European Space Agency, letting viewers watch the Ariane rocket take off.  Things were going well, but we were dreaming of something bigger. We were dreaming about GoodBarber.  

Hello GoodBarbers! Today we have some good news for our Brazilian friends: the back office and apps are now available in Brazilian! We already offered the option for you to set your back office and app in Portuguese. But as we are aware that there are significant differences between the two languages, we felt that it was essential to provide the choice of Brazilian as well, in order for you to make the most of our interface and your beautiful apps. Now it's done! Stay tuned, GoodBarber's Brazilian adventure has only just begun!
